On May 11, 2025, Director Yoo Hwa-jung of Modi Hair Plant Clinic presented at the Korean Society of Hair Restoration Surgery under the title
‘A Review of Graft Holding Solution Used in Hari Restoration Surgery’
and received the Best Presentation Award.

In non-incision (FUE) hair transplant surgery, the longer hair follicles remain outside the body,
the greater the influence the choice of holding solution has on follicle survival rates.
Director Yoo Hwa-jung compared and analyzed the various holding solutions currently used in clinical practice,
and presented a scientific verification of which solution is most effective under which conditions.
The study found that normal saline, which is commonly used, also performs a minimal preservation role,
but when surgery times are longer or the out-of-body storage time of follicles increases,
more specialized holding solutions clearly showed higher survival rates.
This research presented an important standard: that by selecting the most suitable holding solution according to the follicles' time outside the body,
healthier follicles, higher graft survival rates, and more natural results can be achieved.
Modi Hair Plant Clinic works to reflect such up-to-date research and academic achievements in actual surgery
so that patients can experience more satisfying non-incision (FUE) hair transplant results.
