Director Yoo Hwa-jung of Modi Hair Plant Clinic received the Best Presentation Award at the Korean Society of Hair Restoration Surgery on May 11, 2025,
for a presentation titled 'A Review of Graft Holding Solution Used in Hari Restoration Surgery'.

In non-incision (FUE) hair transplant surgery, the longer the hair follicles remain outside the body,
the more the type of holding solution used has a significant impact on the survival rate of hair follicles.
Director Yoo Hwa-jung compared and analyzed various holding solutions currently used in clinical practice,
and presented a scientific verification of which solution is most effective under which conditions.
The research found that although the commonly used normal saline also plays a minimal preservation role,
when the surgery takes longer or the ex vivo storage time of the hair follicles increases,
a more specialized holding solution clearly shows a higher survival rate.
This research presented an important standard: by selecting the most suitable holding solution according to the ex vivo time of the hair follicles,
it is possible to achieve healthier hair follicles, a higher graft survival rate, and more natural results.
Modi Hair Plant Clinic strives to reflect such latest research and academic achievements in actual surgery
so that patients can experience more satisfactory non-incision (FUE) hair transplant surgery results.
