The potential hair loss population in Korea is estimated at about 10 million people. According to a survey by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, the number of hair loss patients in Korea in 2019 was 233,628, a 12% increase compared with 2015 (208,534). In particular, the hair loss population among young people and women appears to be increasing rapidly.
Hair loss is a condition for which excessive stress, along with genetic factors, is cited as a main cause. Excessive stress causes blood vessels to constrict, interfering with the supply of nutrients and oxygen to the hair roots, which in turn accelerates hair loss.
As the hair loss population grows, social perceptions are also changing. In the past, many people tended to hide their hair loss, but recently perceptions of hair loss have been shifting, with people openly admitting to hair loss or confidently sharing their hair transplant reviews.
In fact, there are quite a few cases of so-called "hair loss coming out," in which not only many male celebrities but also female celebrities have revealed on broadcast television that they underwent hair transplants to improve a wide forehead or M-shaped hair loss.

How stably the transplanted follicles take hold serves as the measure for judging whether the procedure has succeeded.

He added, "As measures to raise the survival rate, during the hair transplant we administer an IV solution combining a blood circulation enhancer, antioxidants, and vitamins, and perform intradermal PDRN injections at the transplanted area, and a high survival rate can be confirmed at 2 weeks after surgery." He further noted, "You should carefully choose a clinic by thoroughly checking not only the medical team's hair transplant skill but also their know-how, the surgical environment, and whether aftercare is provided."
